What the Future Holds ?
Is there anyone who doesn’t think about the future now and then?
As children all of us had a natural tendency to dream about what life would hold for us. Now, most of us reading this have thought more realistically about what our abilities are and how we might fit into society. What career might best suit us? We have a network of family and friends. Some of us might still be on the road to learn skills and information we can use in life to be ready for what’s ahead of us.
What’s common with all of us is the sense that the life we lead is a journey to some sort of destination in our future or futures. We say “futures” because to one degree or another we sense our own future is tied up with other people. We hope the best of our relationships will grow and benefit ourselves and those we know and can relate to.
In a general sense, this website is meant to explore an even grander, wider inclusion of people to include those we both know and do not know. In historical terms, we are referring to mankind; all men, women, and children who happen to be sharing life at this time, somewhere on this planet of ours.
It’s important to bring our personal experiences of life to this more expansive view of living together when we explore the FUTURE. Because the future is anytime from the next moment, day, month, year or years. Also a very big topic and a big consideration.
Will our relationships last into our future? We hope so. What circumstances and situations will be a part of our tomorrows? Deep inside we hope others will help us consider these things and help us sort out what matters and how to navigate life ahead of us.
As life continues we realize nothing really stays the same. We all face change, whether welcome or not. In fact in many ways life is changing all of the time. Those lucky among us have others to help them with decisions and how to respond. Do we need to hold back or take action? We all endeavor to join with others and we should never underestimate the support of other people when facing life’s changes.
